Par Not Far Demo

A quick look at the on-device engine that powers vCaddie for golf and an early baseball decision model.

  • Edge-first: All decisionscomputed on the phone, not in the cloud.

  • Real-time: Thousands of simulations per shot in less than a second.

  • Multi-sport: Same platform generates the engine that runs golf and baseball. Not a single-sport app.

Demo 1 • Golf Short Game (vCaddie)

This demo shows the vCaddie recommending a 9 iron instead of other clubs from Lob to Pitching Wedge because it increases the up-and-down probability by 12% over the other clubs. This can save 1-2 strokes per round for a 20 handicap player.

Chipping demo

What you are seeing

  • The player described the shot being a 20-yard downhill fringe chip.

  • The recommendation engine analyzes features like dispersion patterns, median proximity, up-and-down %, and hole-out % by club.

Demo 2 • Baseball At-bat Intelligence

Here the same Par Not Far engine has generate a model for baseball to examine a pitcher and hitter matchup. Coaches can use the product to optimize lineups, defensive substitutions, and pitch sequences

Chipping demo

What you are seeing

  • Each pitch is modeled with features like location, movement, and count context.

  • The engine simulates swing vs. take outcomes and surfaces the best pitches to look for when facing this pitcher

How It Works: The Brain Lives on the Phone

Par Not Far is built as an edge-first decision engine. The phone or watch becomes the caddie: it listens, runs the simulations locally, and returns a single clear recommendation the player can trust.

  • Voice in, decision out: Player talks to vCaddie just like a real caddie.

  • On-device physics + statistics: A Monte Carlo core uses player-specific patterns and conditions to evaluate options.

  • Simple guidance: The engine compresses thousands of outcomes into a single, human-readable recommendation.
